Cradle versus Slings

I have a AP 240SL tri-toon with 150 hp Yamaha. Bought a new home at Padre Island TX on a salt water canal. Boat house has slings. Is it ok to use slings for this boat or should a get a cradle?

    I would go with the cradle for sure. Sling straps would be squeezing the outer tubes, which would put a constant load on the sadddles between the tubes and the deck.
