Vented caps or NON-Vented Caps on Toons

I found maybe 1/2 gal of water in one toon. After testing repeatedly it holds 2lbs air consistently (24hrs) so therefore no leak. My theory is the vented caps could be allowing condensation or water in! Most Mfg do not have vented caps. Doesn't it make sense to use NON-vented caps moving forward?? IF there was a small leak now or in the future, the vented caps displace the air, allowing water in at a faster rate. Another benefit to non-vented also is your able to spot air-bubbles, again IF there was a future leak below the waterline. Thoughts?
