‘01 San Pan 2500LE - Are bulkheads sealed?

I recently knocked a hole in the front of Starboard pontoon (accidentally hit metal brace on my lift). I was able to drive the boat to have it hauled out and fixed. During my trip to boat repair the boat was listing to starboard by about 4-6”. My question is this, are the bulkheads sealed completing between each section? I’m thinking yes but wanted confirmation. The welder said it took 2 hours to drain the water out. But if the bulkheads are not fully sealed then the boat would have probably listed much worse and/or sank altogether.
