16.5' strips are perfect. Wiring looks easy. I bought the LED strips, the switch, the wire and the wire connectors from Amazon. I bought the heat shrink with solder connectors. Those seem perfect. Cutting the panel on the right for the switch was fairly tedious. I used a Dremel tool with a cutting disc. Wiring from the pos and neg and switch all seem straightforward and easy - just connect to the red and black. Everything in the console is hot. I will also install a battery switch soon.
