2017 Aqua Patio 235-CB with Yamaha 115-XB motor height

Last year I purchased a used 2017 Aqua Patio. I've noticed extreme splash around the engine cowling while under full power with motor properly
trimmed. I think maybe the engine is mounted too low on the transom. Is there a recommended position (which holes on the transom mount) for the motor? I've attached pictures.
