Just purchased a 2014 Sweetwater 2086 and was wondering if someone could recommend a good

fender for this boat, I want to protect my investment. I have some from previous ski boats ive owned

but they look small for a pontoon.

I use the Polyform G-4 series for my 24 ft pontoon.  I like the ones that hange from the end and not through the center.  The chart here:   http://www.savvyboater.com/polyform-g-series-boat-fenders.aspx  is helpful.  I also looked at the Taylor molded fenders for pontoons.  They seem pricey and I'm just not sure how easily they would be put out when coming into the dock.  I guess you could permanently mount them, but then they may not be positioned correctly if you hook up to another boat.

I ordered Taylor Pontoon Fender 9" x 16", White. Reviews were good have not tried yet. I too am waiting for my 2014 pontoon and want to protect my investment.  I also order 4 large standard fenders to lay down inside of slip.

If I do hit the impact will be cushioned well.

Went to install the Taylors, but because of the strap conf., its not easy to do while boat is in slip. I instead laid 4 large fender in a string on the side of the slip i nav to. I've found this provides a lot of protection so I returned the Taylor fenders. As mentioned the Taylor fenders are expensive.
