We are torn between the black & taupe color. Will the black finish & the fabric Bimini top fade?

We are looking at the taupe color and also the black. I am concerned that the black finish & top will fade over time. Anyone out there had any trouble with this?

I have the black & taupe but can't help you mine is a 2015 bought in October so no sun to speak of yet but I saw a few used ones when we bought ours and they looked fine. I'm just going tob keep 303 protective on it monthly. Used the stuff on my Cruiser and it was a 99 and seats still looked new5
