Sweetwater pontoon horn

I assume the red button blows the horn.  not working.
Does the accessories button need to be turned on?

    I have had boats where no switches on the dashboard work without the accessories button was on. My current pontoon, the horn blows as long as my battery switch is on. Sometimes I think wiring differs boat to boat. If you have a volt meter you can check for power on the horn itself while someone else hits the switch. I trust my Freon can to be louder than a built in horn anyway.
