Rain and dashboard

will it hurt the dashboard controls if my boat has a hard rain while docked for 24 hours?

    As I said in another post, I have had a bunch of boats :)  While the dash gauges are supposed to be waterproof/ resistant; I have had moisture fog up a few over the years. Otherwise, I have washed my dashboard right along with the rest of the boat, rain is fine too. While using in salt water areas, I prefer that it rain to rinse the boat. I do check the screws for tightness and close all compartments, the radio has a cover plate. I wouldn't worry if I were you.

    Rain cooked my radio, after forgetting to roll down radio cover...
