Lots of little things wrong with our 2017 AP 235SB - is this typical?
I bought my first new boat in 2006 - a Yamaha SX230 - and DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE WARRANTY ISSUE. My second new boat, a 2017 AP 235SB is a different story. -pin hole in the bimini -speedometer is off by 10mph -strap missing from chaise lounge trash compartment -door latch busted on cockpit storage -snap was broken on the…

Boat cover and Bimini
Hi we have a 2014 Sanpan 2500LE. The front of the full morring cover and Bimini top are very loose. I wish I had contacted the dealer about this when we purchased the boat. Would this be something covered under warranty? There's also a miss aligned snap in the front of the morring cover.

Third tube supposed to have holes drilled into it?
Just got my new 2286 SW DL Triple Tube and it squats a fair amount in the rear. I'm really wishing this thing would sit more level. Dealer said it's because of the larger tubes and the 150hp motor. I looked at some pictures from the day 1 when it was still on the trailer and I'm noticing holes drilled into the bottom of…

"Lighting; mood accent lights under seats"
Does this mean "the speakers light up"? That is the only interior lighting on our 2017 AP235SB other than the courtesy light at the helm.

Cockpit changes - AP 235SB
I just purchased a 235SB yesterday and would like to: (1) swap out the wood grain dash panels for something else - I suspect the silver would look good as there are silver accents on the seat cushions. Is this possible? If so, what does it entail? (2) Also, is it possible to get a taller windshield? (3) Install a mechanism…

electrical issues with gauges and lights
hey - I have just purchased a 2012 Sweetwater 2286 tritoon with Yamaha 150 outboard. The nav lights work and the anchor light works and all the gauges work. But if I turn on the nav lights, the gauges react funny - no gauge lights come on and the fuel gauge will peg full and the voltmeter pegs far left to zero or whatever.…

Prop confusion
2006 PartyKraft 22', Yamaha F90 w/oem 13 1/4 diameter x17 pitch prop = 22-23 mph with a moderate load @ 5200 rpm My SIL ran across a rocky shallow and destroyed the above prop. So I have been reading and researching a replacement that might give me more rpm. Everything I read says going down in pitch will gain rpm. Top rpm…

Sanpan quality issues
Hi All - looking for a little advice. I bought a new Sanpan 2500 2 years ago that is just riddled with quality issues, including plumbing, seats falling through, radio broken, helm shaking apart, instruments falling out - the list goes on and on (over 30 issues). I have been in touch with Bennington/Godfrey directly, and…

Connecting power to my fish finder
I'm going to install a fish finder on my 2016 Sweetwater 2086. I'm assuming that the power connection is somewhere behind the center or right hand instrument panel. does anyone happen to know which one and it it straightforward to just disconnect the battery, remove the panel screws and pull the panel forward to access the…
